Call For Maltese Fintechs To Join The Fintech Revolution - Visa Innovation Programme

Fintech Startup in Malta? You're in for some great news!

The Visa Innovation Program, an international program that provides mentorship, investors, and training resources over a six-month period, has just been made available, through an official launch held in Malta, for all Maltese Fintech startups.

The program's been created by Visa, Eleven Ventures, Crowdpolicy, and Hackquarters to help fintech startups develop and commercialize their ideas by connecting them with banks, e-money institutions, merchants, and other big companies to prove their concepts. The programme is designed to help early stage Fintech scale-up and supercharge their value proposition, while engaging with Visa, its clients and partners.

The programme already has five editions in four countries, more than 900 applicants, 72 selected Fintechs and 68 proofs of concept derived from Visa network partner introductions. Participating fintech firms have also received over €350 million in funding through a combination of program support and independent capital raises- most noticeably Payhawk, who eventually turned into a Unicorn
